We go out on team day outs! Lots of fun and productivity!
We close the clinic for a day, 4 times a year, for quarterly team bonding days out!
This day is dedicated to team bonding, and we will also be focusing on enhancing our services to better serve our patients and make any improvements, reflect on what is working and not working in the clinic. We believe that this investment in planning and development will contribute to an even better experience for all our valued patients. We end the day going out doing activities, lunches etc. its great fun!
Who are we?
Eltham Osteopathy Clinic has gained a reputation for training some of the busiest osteopaths in the country - fast.
Our success is founded on keeping our patients healthy for a lifetime, rather than short term patch up care. This is a huge mindset change for new grads - but we help them every step of the way to a more vitalistic view.
We spend a lot of time training and nurturing our osteopaths to be successful, using a 3-step system we have developed over 20 years.

Through this system, we have spent over 20 years refining & investing in an excellent training programme so that our clinic environment & systems support the osteopaths - so that we can help more people get better, whilst being in a fun & friendly clinic (which patients really appreciate). An important part of this is providing an environment where new, and experienced Osteopaths alike, can thrive and develop. We aim to make our associates’ lives comfortable, purposeful and contented -so that they can concentrate on giving their patients the best of their skills and attention.

What are the benefits and training like?
New Patient Acquisition: We know how hard it can be to get new patients, so that’s why we spend time training you on how to get those new patients in an effortless system. We have a wide range of internal and external new patient programs, from internal referral programs all the way to templates for producing your own corporate health fairs and talks. Knowledge of marketing will be beneficial - but the ability to learn and implement marketing ideas is more important.
Patient Retention: We have researched how and why patients stay or leave osteopathic practices and have created specific and easy-to-implement patches for the 'leaky practice' bucket. We will show you how to communicate what is in your head and heart that makes a lifetime osteopathic patient, plus give you the tools for staying in a “patient valued relationship”!
Patient Education: We have systems and procedures designed to educate and lead patients to the best osteopathic outcome. If the patients do not understand what an osteopath is and what we do, how can they refer to us? We teach you how to share osteopathic principles that produce committed lifelong osteopathy patients.
Business development: We teach you the 5 key business skills needed to one day open your own clinic. Successful businesses are based on systems and we show you what systems work, and how we have refined them.
Patient Management: We teach you the best treatment protocols so that you can get the best results possible.
Communication skills: It’s not always the best osteopaths that are busy, but rather the best communicators. We teach you advanced communication skills so that you can communicate the osteopathic story to your patients in a way they understand - and they'll remember for life!
